My name is Anna and I am a Celta teacher based in Glasgow with more than 15 years of work history in the field of languages tutoring and translation. I have experience in a number of industries including education, sales, and multilingual services.

My Bachelor’s Degree in Italian Law and my Traineeship in public law from Strathclyde University give me the opportunity to provide bespoke courses in Business English and Legal English. Furthermore, I offer bespoke 1-2-1 and group lesson modules.

My tuition includes grammar, speaking, listening and pronunciation. For students I provide a particular focus on academic writing as well as advanced english grammar.

GIORGIA CONCILIO BIO:

Giorgia Concilio is an experienced legal interpreter with a strong background in Scottish law. She has worked for a wide range of clients including but not limited to barristers, solicitors, doctors, private consultants and schools. Giorgia is based in Scotland, where she relocated in 2014 with the aim of completing her studies there. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Media from the University of Stirling as well as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting from the Chartered Institute of Linguists. Furthermore, she has completed formal training as a TEFL teacher in 2017 and has since worked as both a private tutor and a teaching assistant."

ELLIE GLASGOW BIO:

Ellie Glasgow is an experienced, Celta-qualified educator.  During her career, she has worked for the University of Glasgow, where she taught academic skills and designed an online teaching module.  She then moved into Communications, working for a Digital Transformation Agency with clients from a wide variety of sectors.  Since moving back into education, Ellie has taught English privately and for several organisations and language schools.  She holds an MA in English Language and History and a Master of Letters in Conflict Studies, both from the University of Glasgow.  Having lived in Edinburgh and Brazil, Ellie returned to her home city of Glasgow, where she is currently based. 

Carolanne BIO:

After graduating from Glasgow University with an M.A in modern languages, I moved to Italy to teach English as a foreign language at the University of Palermo. I also taught  at a private Law university called LUMSA, and various High schools teaching English grammar and conversation. During my time in Italy I completed a TEFL course to enhance my teaching.

I am currently a teaching assistant and I have experience with children. In 2020 I obtained an HNC in Early Childhood Practice. In addition to my present job, I offer private tuition, teaching both Italian and English as a foreign language.
